Silver Beach County Park

This park is located at the mouth the St. Joseph River. It features a wide, silver-sand beach and everything you need to have a perfect day on the beach.

Concessions, restrooms, picnic pavilions, and comfortable benches are all available along a wide, paved pathway. This path is ideal for and wheelchair accessibility.

For added accessibility, this Berrien County beach offers beach wheelchairs.

Lifeguards are available for more than 1600 feet of beach and there are volleyball courts that are open all year.

The whirlpool fountain compass fountain keeps things going with water spraying from jets.

Silver Beach Carousel

The Carousel is located just yards from Silver Beach Center’s beach. It features 44 hand-carved horses, and music played by a vintage organ.

Even if you don’t ride, this piece of St. Joe’s past will delight you.

The Curious Kids Discovery Zone is also located at Silver Beach Center. This branch of Curious Kids Museum allows curious children ages 2 to 100 to explore water activities, virtual reality, climbing walls, and other hands-on exhibits.

This interactive museum for children ages 1-10 is located downtown St. Joseph.

Another bonus? You can find silver beach Pizza across the street, which is a must-see spot for anyone visiting St. Joes.

The Krasl Art Center

This center is a good example of a public art center. It offers both opportunities for arts education and high-quality public displays. They are also easily accessible.

It is a welcoming space that’s comfortable for everyone. You can also view art in the nearby Box Factory for the Arts, which boasts more than 50000 square foot of gallery space.

Tiscornia Park

There are sandy hiking trails that lead to the north pier and stunning views of St. Joseph lighthouses.

You can enjoy the beach, with its restrooms and picnic area.

The Baroda Founders Wine Cellar is one of our favorites spots for Michigan wine in this region.

This winery is located on the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail and has been producing award-winning wines for over 40 years. White Pine Winery is another favourite.

This winery is owned and operated by an award-winning winemaker. It focuses on classic wines.

It’s a charming tasting room in downtown St. Joe’s. There are many wine-themed gifts you can shop while you’re tasting.

The white sangria is a great choice.
