Night Terrors at Wiard’s Orchards

Night Terrors Thrills Park in Wiard’s Orchards is a popular haunt: After enduring three haunted homes, a maze and clowns and a haunted hayride you can end your evening with cider or donuts!

The farm’s 100-acre operation seamlessly blends traditional orchard experiences with October spooks, making it a great place to take the family on a family trip. It’s hard to find a better place than this farm to enjoy all the fall festivities at once.

Erebus

The Erebus Haunted House in Michigan is well-known and well-respected. Since its inception in Pontiac, Erebus has grown to be a major attraction. It was once the Guiness World Record holder for longest-walking haunted attraction until 2009.

Long-standing haunted house fans have long loved the Haunt in Wyoming just outside Grand Rapids. The massive attraction covers 55,000 square feet and includes 144 rooms, nearly 100 actors, and 62 animatronics.

The Azra Chamber Of Horrors Haunted house is a relatively new addition to Michigan’s haunted houses collection. However, it has already made an impact in the first few years. This haunt takes its name from a dragon that feeds on fear. It has risen to the top spot in Michigan and among the top 20 haunts across the country.

You will be traversing multiple floors of a very creepy maze that has a story that refers to the building’s past as a laser tag arena. Take a chance on this not-to-be-underestimated newbie.

HushHush Haunted Attraction

Hush is a haunt in southwest Michigan that offers three distinct attractions. There’s Descent, where you are trapped in a mine, Coven, where your explore a witch coven’s lair, and Rosecliff Hall, which is the classic haunted house experience.

Dark nights are a favorite time for fans to visit. The lights are turned off and the glowsticks light up the attraction. If you’re up for it, give it a try!

Edson Incident

Bay City, MI

Because the Edson Incident took place aboard the USS Edson, a Vietnam War-era Navy Destroyer of Vietnam War era, it is quite scary. The Edson was in combat and earned the nickname “Gray Ghost of the Vietnamese Coast,” which is fitting for this haunted attraction.

The haunted attraction on the ship revolves around the story of a military experiment that went wrong during the spooky season. This haunt is a unique blend of horror and history. The Edson Incident, true to its tagline, will “scare” the ship while also supporting the Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum. This “ghostship” is worth a visit.

This spot is worth the drive to southwest Michigan if October is truly “haunting season”. Niles Scream Park is one of the most popular. It has six attractions and escape room. Each year, 44 acres are reconstructed to entertain and terrorize guests.

The haunted house is so big that you would have to visit it at least seven times to see all the possible paths. You might also enjoy the classic haunted corn maze or hayride. But for those who are truly adventurous, the scariest attraction is the blindfold, waiver and 18+ restriction.

DarkSyde Acres

Are you looking for haunted attractions in Michigan? This spot is in southeast Michigan. DarkSyde Acres Haunted House, Jonesville, is another huge attraction that covers 38 acres.

Five attractions will keep your interest during your excursion: a chainsaw maze; the Michigan’s only haunted pirate vessel; and the Rusthole, an industrial horror experience that is unmatched in its terrifying industrial horror. KlowneTowne is a 3-D Haunted Clown Adventure for those who love the scarecrow motif.

Mackinaw Manor

Mackinaw Manor has a more gentle atmosphere, which allows for more family-friendly scares within the haunted house setting. Mackinaw Manor is proud to operate fully automatic with animatronics and special effects as well as a top-notch sound system.

It’s a hidden gem in the tip of mitten, well worth a visit if you’re up North seeing the beautiful fall colors.

Scarefest Scream Park

Scarefest Scream Park would be created if you combined the Disney-style thematic excellence with the terror of monsters, zombies, and chainsaws. This place is a secluded woodland location that houses four attractions.

The four attractions are arranged in order of increasing terror-factor: the Hayride of Doom (family-friendly), the Terror Zone Maze, the Forest of Darkness (for the brave), the Forest of Darkness (for the fearless), and the Castle of the Dead. There are over 20 rooms. For a wide range of scares, stop by.

The Village of the Living Dead, St. Charles

The Village of the Living Dead, located in St. Charles, has been scaring people since the 1980s. You can be scared here for a good cause, as it is run by a non profit association that funds youth programs and other causes such as the American Cancer Society.

Although volunteering doesn’t reduce the terror factor at this haunt though, it does not diminish its scare factor. This haunted house attraction is a great place to visit. It features a creative set, terrifying jump scares, and engaging actors.
