Michigan Art Fairs June
Festival of the Arts
When: June 3, 2022 – June 5, 2022
Grand Rapids (MI)
From June 3rd to 5th, be sure to visit Grand Rapids for the Festival of the Arts. This festival features West Michigan’s best-known artists, a beer tent (for those 21+), as well as plenty of food trucks and booths. You will want to return again and again because there is so much to see and do.
This event offers everything you need, whether you want to try new foods, hear Jazz ensembles, poetry, or comedy. The best thing is that you can do it all. Grand Rapids is home to a number of hotels. Make it a long weekend so you don’t miss anything!
Petoskey Spring Art and Craft Show
When: June 4, 2022 – June 5, 2022

Petoskey spring art and craft show is free to all visitors on June 4th and 5. Even if your trip to the U.P. is short, you should still make it to Petoskey! You won’t regret stopping by the U.P.
Local artists will be there to show their work, hoping that it will reach you in a way mass-produced paintings cannot. This art fair features everything from metal art to pottery and paintings. Did I mention jewelry and yard art as well as wearable art? This is where you’ll also find it.

Palmer Park Art Fair
When: June 4, 5-8, 2022
Where: 600 Merrill Plaisance Detroit, MI 48221
The Detroit’s Palmer Park Art Fair is a unique experience. People gather in Palmer Park to hear readings by local poets and authors. There are many genres represented, and each author would love to sign and discuss their work.
Grab a bite after you have signed your book. You can also order dessert from the speciality food trucks. Signed book and dessert It can’t get any better! It can!
Take part in art projects, sketching, art-in-motion, instrument making, and more. You can also explore the park to see works of art created by young Detroitartists. You can join the 2pm drum circle with a drum set or, if you don’t have one or are new to the game, you can use the improvised drums.
Don’t forget about the 2D, 3-D and wearable art. You can buy a unique ring or a hand-painted landscape for your living space. This art fair will be held June 4th-5th.
Art on River
When: June 10-12, 2022
Where: 500 Merchant Street Port Huron, MI 48606
Three days of music and art in Port Huron, Michigan. It sounds great! Take a moment to admire the stunning scenery along the St. Clair River. Don’t get tired of admiring the beauty, but don’t forget to look at the work of local artisans and crafters. You can also close your eyes and listen to live music. This will allow you to imagine yourself anywhere in the world. But, you wouldn’t want to be exactly where your are! It’s impossible to think of any reason.
The art fair is family-friendly and features many events that will keep your kids happy. The family will leave with new decor, and the children will have new skills.
There are many things to do with adults, whether you’re flying solo, with a friend or shopping with your significant other. You can find unique gifts for birthdays, collect handcrafted items that make your house special, or just grab a quick refreshment at a beverage tent.
PRO-TIP – Michigan’s Blue Thumb Coast really is one of the most overlooked spots on Lake Huron. Take some extra time to travel north from Port Huron on M-25 to enjoy some stunning scenery. Lake Huron is a stunning shade of aqua. You’ll also find beautiful beaches to rock-hunt for Petoskey Stones.
Traverse City Sunset at the Park Arts and Crafts Show

Where: Sunset Park, 635 E. Front Street Traverse City
This fun art event is located in a park at the shores of West Bay, downtown Traverse city. You’ll want to make sure you plan to attend. There will be 50 booths with top local artisans. What could be better than looking at the Grand Traverse Bay shores?

St. Clair Art Fair

Where: Palmer Park, St. Clair River, MI
The St. Clair Art Fair is one of the oldest in Michigan. Don’t miss the chance to attend the St. Clair Art Fair, June 25th-26th. You can walk one of the most extensive boardwalks anywhere in the world to find your next art fair buy. You will find everything you need: paintings, photographs and sculptures, jewelry and pottery, as well as woodwork.
You can shop until you drop or buy a few knick-knacks for home. Then, take a break at the park and relax in the fresh air.

South Haven Art Fair

West Shore Art Fair

Where: Rotary Park in Ludington, MI
You should add the West Shores Art Fair, Ludington, to your summer bucket list. It is one of the most prestigious fine art fairs Michigan has to offer. The fair is well-known by locals, and it was also named one of Sunshine Artist Magazine’s 200 Best Fine Art & Fine Craft Fairs.
You can find something for everyone, whether you are looking for a peaceful day of art viewing or a family day out. There are many other things to do, such as live music, crafts for kids, and food stations. It’s even on a weekend, July 2nd/3rd. So why not visit the beach while you’re there?
If art is your primary reason to visit, you will find plenty of it! For a truly unique piece, check out the metal, clay, leather, and wood pieces. You can also find paintings, jewelry and photographs as well as mixed media pieces.
Art in the Park
When: July 8-20, 2022
Plymouth, MI
Art in the Park is a must-see art fair this summer. It features over 400 artists. It is also Michigan’s second largest art fair. There will be plenty of things to see, including sculptures, jewelry and woodwork as well as paintings, photography, and many other items. It will be open from July 8th-10th.
This art fair attracts nearly 300,000 visitors each year. It is well worth a visit, if that doesn’t convince you, then I don’t know of anything else. Perhaps a mother-daughter duo organizes this art fair each year? It is possible that the mother started it in 1980. As the art fair grows each year, the food, art and live music reflect their passion, it shines through.
Krasl Art Fair at the Bluff
When: July 8-10, 2022
Where: 707 Lake Blvd., St Joseph, MI 489085
This year marks 60 years of success for Krasl Art Fair at the Bluff. Block party Friday, July 8th will kick off the weekend. Spend Saturday and Sunday with the 172 artists who came from all over the United States to St. This art fair was held in Joseph, Michigan. Do not forget to take in some sightseeing while you are there. Lake Michigan is a stunning place to see a sunset.
Richland Art Fair
When: July 16, 2022

Gull Meadow Farms might be something you’ve experienced before. This may be enough to make you stop by the Richland Art Fair because it is sure to be great! Gull Meadows might not be on your Fall radar but why not visit it this summer?
This art fair has been a platform for artists to display their work for 48 years. It includes everything from fine art to handmade craft. Although there are only limited spaces, each artist’s work will be on display for all to see.
The art fair is a wonderful opportunity to purchase unique pieces and take them home. Residents of the Gull lakeCommunity school district who might need financial, medical, or other support may be eligible.
A fine art fair that supports a great cause? You don’t need any more! It will be available on July 16th.
Glen Lake Women’s Club Art Fair

Glen Arbor, MI
A fair for artists in the middle of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Yes, Please! For the annual juried Art Fair, visit beautiful Glen Arbor. This northern Michigan art fair is now in its 51st year. It features artists carefully chosen to sell unique art pieces at Glen Arbor Township Hall. Art Fair artisans are represented in many media, including pottery, painting and textiles.

Art at the Beach in Oscoda

Where: Downtown Oscoda (MI)
This popular event features original artwork by artists from across the state. It is held in downtown Oscoda and is a top Michigan beachtown.
This is a true art festival with over 100 artists selling their handcrafted arts and crafts.
You should plan to spend some time at the beaches in Oscoda – they are among the best in Michigan.
Art on the Rocks
When: July 30, 2022 – July 31, 2022
Where: Ellwood A Mattson Lower Harbor Park 200 N Lakeshore Blvd Marquette, MI
Sunshine Artist magazine named this juried art show on Lake Superior shores one of the best summer events in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. This amazing annual event, which showcases more than 175 artists, is now in its 56th year.
You should plan to stay Marquette for a few days to see everything. The popular art fair attracts crowds up to 10,000. Marquette offers many fun activities, such as exploring Marquette’s Black Rocks cliffs .
August Michigan Art Fairs
Island Art Fair

It is a family-friendly, fun event. You can find a make-and-take tent for children, sandcastle-building contest, food vendors, and live music in the pavilion.
Blueberry Festival Craft Fair
When: August 13-14, 2022

You are looking for an art fair that doubles as a fundraiser? The Blueberry Festival Craft Fair is located in South Haven (Michigan). The proceeds go to the Chamber and the Blueberry Festival.

You can be certain that the pieces you see will come from high-quality and dedicated artists, as they were selected from hundreds of applicants.
This prestigious art fair was established in 1958 with the goal of bringing fine arts and crafts into Northern Michigan. The artists include locals as well as Michiganders. They also include people living thousands of miles away. You will find many cultures and personalities in the work.
You can also enjoy the stunning scenery while you’re there. Charlevoix, Michigan.
Shelby Township Art Fair

This art fair is for you if you are worried about traveling. There are plenty of parking spots at Shelby Township Art Fair. If you need to park further than you would like, shuttle buses are provided. Your only concern will be how many paintings you can fit into your car.
When planning your Shelby Township trip, remember to keep the dates of August 13th and 14. There will be live music and lots of crafts. The day will be filled with fun activities for children, including bouncers and crafts for kids. Do not miss this opportunity!
Roundup Family Fair/Art in the Village

Roundup Family Fair or, more commonly, Art in the Village is the art fair that I’m most excited about going to this Labor Day Weekend. There are many family-friendly events like pony rides, magicians, and parades that will ensure everyone has a great time.
If you are more interested in the fine arts side of things, there are plenty of options. You will find outstanding furniture, fibers, pottery, metal, wood and other artifacts. You could go on and on. It’s not a bad thing. You will find something that you love to take home or give to someone else.
